Exposed Skincare Clarifying Mask Review

Exposed Skin Care is a product line developed by dermatologists, cosmetologists, naturopaths, and chemists all working together to create products that treat acne and prevent new acne from forming. What makes this company different than others is that they focus on treating your skin gently and effectively versus using tons of product and scrubbing your face. The worst thing you can do with blemishes is dry them out too much and/or irritate them with harsh products.

This is why I love that they use Salicylic Acid in most of their products rather than Benzoyl Peroxide which, while it can be effective, always irritated my skin in the past. Salicylic Acid is much gentler but still does a good job of drying out acne and clearing skin. The products in this skincare line also include natural ingredients like Green Tea Extract (heals and protects), Passion Flower (reduces inflammation) and Sage Extract (detoxifies skin.)

I got to try several of the products that come in the Exposed Skin Care kits including the Clarifying Mask which helps reduce oiliness, remove impurities, and prevent blackheads. It contains Sulfur (removes excess oil, kills acne bacteria), Resorcinol (removes buildup of dead skin cells), and Bentonite (removes toxins and impurities.) The mask can be used 1-2 times a week and is a dryish gray mask that comes in a tube. It is meant to be put on a clean dry face, so it was a little hard to spread across my whole face and I ended up using more product to cover all areas (except of course the eye and lip areas.) But after letting it dry and then rinsing it off, my skin not only looked like it got a deep clean, but it looked glowing and really balanced. I am very happy that this mask doesn't irritate my skin at all or cause any redness or dryness. It is very gentle but leaves skin more clear and less oily.

Overall, I am pleased with Exposed Skin Care products and recommend their gentle approach to skincare. The products can be bought in a kit or separately so you can try one out without committing to a kit.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
