Dead Sea Mud Mask Review
As you might know, I'm really into Dead Sea salts lately, so I was excited to try the Dead Sea Mud Mask by Pure Essentials & Minerals. This product contains 100% pure, natural, and certified organic ingredients including the #1 ingredient - Pure Dead Sea Mud. Yes, mud from the world-renowned healing waters of the Dead Sea!
Dead Sea Mud contains more than 21 skin-reviving minerals including magnesium, calcium, sulfur, potassium, etc. These minerals are known to treat, detoxify, and cleanse the skin, which helps keep it looking youthful. The mask definitely smells natural - not so much like mud, but more of a sulfur smell. It's just a little reminder that this mask is legit!
The Dead Sea Mud Mask also contains additional natural ingredients like Organic Shea Butter, Organic Aloe Vera Juice, and Eucalyptus Oil. I think the eucalyptus oil is what gives the mask it's tingly feeling, which I get when I first put it on. The tingling subsides after a few minutes and the mask dries nicely on my face. Washing off the mask is really easy - I do it in the shower for easier cleaning - but it comes right off without any scrubbing. The mud is lightly exfoliating so when you put it on and wash it off, it helps to remove dead skin cells and impurities.
The first time I used this mask, my face felt very clean and tight. I used moisturizer afterward and a little later could see that my skin was glowing and felt super soft. This really helps to detoxify and pull out all the gunk from my pores, and it doesn't bother my sensitive skin. I love having a mask like this and plan to use it every couple weeks or when my skin needs a boost. Each jar contains enough for about 30 masks - which is more than enough to last quite awhile, even if you use it once a week as recommended. It's just like a spa facial without the high cost of going to the spa!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
