Cold Steel Kudu Knife Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.
Looking for a great Father's Day gift? (Trust me, it will be June before you know it!) And the Kudu high performance knife by Cold Steel would make a great gift for any hunter, fisherman, or avid outdoorsman. I plan on giving one to my dad since he loves fishing and could use a good folding pocket knife for fishing and various other activities.

Cold Steel Kudu Knife Review - Father's Day The Kudu has a 4-1/4" stainless steel blade with a razor-sharp thin edge. The handle is made of a strong material (43% glass reinforced Zytel) and has a textured finish for traction. It also has a steel horn-like emblem on the handle, which adds a stylish look to the knife. When testing this knife, I found that it is very sharp as advertised and the handle is easy to grip

The locking mechanism has a really strong spring that holds the blade open rigidly until you want to close it. Then you simply pull on the attached ring to unlock the knife and fold it closed. In my experience, the locking mechanism held the knife open without giving at all, and I had to pull on the ring pretty hard to get the knife to unlock and start folding.

Overall the knife has a nice weight - not too heavy, but solidly built. It looks nice and is made of high-quality materials. Plus it's really affordable when you purchase it online from Swords of the East. The Kudu knife is handy for any outdoorsman (or woman) to keep in their pocket on their adventures!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
