I turned 27 in May and had the most amazing birthday ever! They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so here are some photos of the events:
The week of my birthday, my co-workers and I enjoyed a night at "the old ballgame" thanks to the Minnesota Twins baseball tickets we had won at work.
The week before, my mother and sister bought me a ticket to see Incubus
in concert - a band I have loved since I was 16 - for my birthday
present! It was a surreal experience to see the band
perform live and to be so close to the stage! They sounded amazing, by the way.

My birthday weekend
was filled with fun - karaoke with friends at a local wine cafe and a
trip to Shout House Dueling Pianos in Minneapolis. We stayed at the
historic W Foshay hotel in downtown Minneapolis, which my friend
reserved through Priceline for $60 which was very cheap for 4 of us
staying in a fancy four-star hotel! The service there was great - Priceline had reserved a room with a king bed but the front
desk clerk switched us to two queens since we had a party of four -
without us even asking!
The Shout House was so much fun! The dueling piano players were so talented and thanks to my friends, they invited me up to the stage to sit on the pianos while they sang to me for my birthday. Hilarious. Here are some photos of the fun:
