BlenderBottle, Insulated Sling & Recipe Book {Review & Giveaway}

If you haven't heard of the BlenderBottle before, you've been missing out! The BlenderBottle is boasted to be the "best mixer since the wire whisk". It mixes everything from nutrition shakes to salad dressings, marinades, omelets, and pancake mixes.

The secret is the patented BlenderBall wire whisk that moves freely throughout the bottle as you shake it, mixing the thickest ingredients with ease. It's made of electropolished surgical-grade stainless steel and is designed to remain in the BlenderBottle cup until you've enjoyed the contents (i.e. it never rusts!)

Here is how the BlenderBottle works: Simply drop in the BlenderBall, add your ingredients, screw on the lid and press down the flip top, and shake! Easy peasy! And once your ingredients are all mixed, you can flip open the StayOpen flip top and drink right from the bottle - or pour the ingredients into your pan or bowl, depending on what you mixed up. This makes a great drink mixer for nutrition and protein shakes, drink mixes like Crystal Light, and even just as a water bottle. The Blender Bottle is BPA free, dishwasher safe, includes ounce and milliliter markings on the side, and features an easy-grip design that fits in most car drink holders. It's so easy to use, portable, and doesn't require any batteries or electricity. I found that it is leak-proof and mixes really fast and thoroughly.

And of course, you can't leave your BlenderBottle naked! The company now offers super cute Insulated Slings made of durable Neoprene, designed to fit the BlenderBottle mixer perfectly. Not only does the sling keep drinks cool, but it eliminates "bottle sweat" which is one of my pet peeves! They also feature a handle with a clip so that you can carry your BlenderBottle easily or clip it to your backpack, gym bag or purse. How handy is that? I love the sling, I picked out a purple striped sling to match with my purple BlenderBottle (did I mention the BlenderBottles come in a variety of colors?) It makes carrying the BlenderBottle to work and the gym so easy - and stylish too!

You also can't go wrong with the 101 Quick & Easy BlenderBottle Recipes book. This features recipes intended to be mixed up in the BlenderBottle. And if you think this contains only drink recipes, think again! The BlenderBottle makes cooking and preparing meals easy and quick, and this recipe book includes recipes for breakfast, main dishes, salads, dressings, appetizers, beverages and desserts. They really are quick and easy, most prep times are estimated at 10-15 minutes and don't include a ton of ingredients like some recipe books do. One recipe I can't wait to try is Sweet 'n Sour Sauce. There's also a recipe for cake batter ice cream - hello dessert-lovers! You can even find some of the recipes on the BlenderBottle website, like the Never Fail BlenderBottle Gravy Recipe. This is an awesome addition to any recipe collection.
